Chicken & Dumplings
In the crock pot:
1.5 lbs. of chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken
1 can corn
1 carton of chicken broth
2 chopped carrots
½ celery stalk, chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
Salt, if needed
7 hours low.
Other:
Tube of biscuits (buttermilk not flaky)
After the soup has been cooking, shred chicken. Then Cut biscuits (from refrigerator) into sixths and add to soup and cook for 30 minutes to an hour more. Stir initially but then don't stir while they're cooking because the dough will get sticky.
After 30 minutes, stir and break apart Dumplings with a spoon. If still sticky, cook for 15 more minutes.
